"Split Woven Basketry" - 22 Projects and Much How-to Information

Description

This 160 page softcover book was published  by Interweave Press in 1986.  Its title is "Split Woven Basketry", and the book is 'as new' with no markings or blemishes.  It has an Introduction, a Glossary, an Index, and five Chapters.  Chapter One is titled 'Getting Ready, and this and Chapter five are the how-to Chapters. Chapter One has color photos of all the finished projects from the book as well as many  black and white photos and a lot of 'getting ready' detailed information.  Chapter five has many black and white photos.  The 22 projects are in the other three chapters.  The 'Contents' pages are shown in the third and fourth pictures and the titles of the Chapters and of the subsections to these chapters can be read from those two pictures.  The second picture has some further information about the book.  All the projects have a black and white photo of the finished basket by the directions for making it, some paragraphs of introductory remarks,  and  captioned black and white photos for every step of the process of creating the basket as well as drawings and diagrams.  The project I am looking at has 28 such photos.  All these photos make creating the baskets a whole lot easier.  This is a very, very nice book.
